A: No. All you have to do is fill out the "name" category. Then type in your message and either hit "Enter" on your keyboard, or click on the "Shout" button. Q: Do I have to use a certain name, and only that name? A: No. You can make up any name you please. You can change it as often as you like as well! Q: Do I have to be a member of your forum to use the chat feature? A:No. It is made so that guests can ask questions reguarding the forum without having to be a member. Q: Why does it show someone online all the time? A: The chat will save your IP adress. This information will NOT be shared to anyone. So when you are logged onto the forum page, it senses that you are online due to it recognizing your IP address. Q: What is the plus sign button next to the "Shout" button for? A: If you click on the plus sign button, it will show you various smiley faces you can use on the chat. All you have to do is click it, and it will add it to your message. Q:Do I need to refresh the chat in order to see anything that has been written recently? A: No. The chat will automatically refresh itself every 10 seconds without you doing so manually. Q:Can other people who aren't members of the forum see what i write? A: Yes. As stated before, the chat has been made public. This is to allow guests to ask questions reguarding the forum before having to become a member.
