I use a brand called "Country Value". I get it from a dog specialty store called Garvers Feed in Illinois. Everytime we visit we pick up two 50lb bags. Brutus goes through one 50lb bag in two weeks.
His coat is shiny, hes a healthy weight, and he LOVES it.

Hm... I've never heard of that before. I wonder if it's available SOMEWHERE (where ever that might be) in Maine...?

All four of my pooches are fed Diamond brand dog food. I purchase it from Buckles Feed Store in Lafayette, IN.
My 4 year old and adolescent get fed the adult food.
The pups get the large breed puppy food. I will be happy when they graduate to adult food for practical reasons.
I wish the large beed dog food would have larger kibble then they offer, but the food overall has been good for their coats.

Yup, I hear it's really good food, but haven't tried it. I don't like trying out new foods. I only like to switch brands once, and only if I have to. If I could, I'd try every food, just to see my Dog's reaction.
And I understand what you mean.
